Newcastle was voted third best European nightlife destination after London and Berlin in TripAdvisor’s Travellers Choice Awards 2010 and Ocean Outdoor will soon be launching Newcastle’s first and only digital out of home advertising screen. The screen is expected to go live during the week commencing 31st March 2014.
Known as ‘The Screen on the Tyne’ it will be a portrait format at a size of 9.5m high and 5.12m wide. Content will be static only and therefore this screen will not be part of Ocean’s ‘The Grid’ network, which covers 7 full-motion sites across 6 cities.
With a prime location situated at the main gateway into Newcastle city centre and not far from the iconic Tyne Bridge, this location is ideal for a multitude of dynamic, data-driven and reactive campaigns which could appeal to a broad-section of audiences. It’s amazing that this will be the first digital out of home screen in Newcastle but we’re certain it will be a huge hit.
